It was in the good company of golden sunshine and happy people on one June afternoon last year when I realised how fully and totally I loved the light of winter. Warm but not hot with a glow that accompanied rather than overpowered it was the perfect partner to an afternoon spent celebrating the privilege of pregnancy and the gift of family.
