I’ll admit to more than a small measure of trepidation when asked to include the third child (aka dog aka horse) into the family photo shoot. I was told he was big. And rowdy. And unpredictable. It was that last part that really had me on the edge of my camera lens for most of the shoot. Because you cant really pose a dog. And you literally have a handful of seconds inbetween each click to produce the shot. I’m sure it was great comedy to watch me trying to create order from the chaos, and then somehow the chaos created magic with each hindleg high jump, sloppy kiss and furtive short distance sprint. Chaos and magic. I loved this shoot, and this family…so special. But you can see that in the captures, I hope.
