I love taking photos of people. I love it that everytime I take photos I am creating something unique because every person is different and every interaction is never the same. Every opportunity to capture moments of magic – those little nuances and shared emotions of human nature – is a joy to me, an opportunity to stop time in its tracks and share a moment that can last forever.

Trystan & Caitlin

The Orchards, KZN Midlands
11 November 2016

True to the nature of the season Trystan and Caitlin’s wedding day started with a lot of clouds overhead and the threat of rain was in the air like an unwanted guest. However the winning combination of a beautiful venue and the most joyful and relaxed bridal couple ensured a wedding day that basked in a glow of genuine happiness that reflected a warmth which was no match for the grey day. I was blown away by the willingness of Trystan and Caitlin to have their creative photos taken alongside a cold and wet landscape, against the clock that promised a torrential downpour at any minute. It was only their sense of humour and distraction for each other that made it incredibly easy to document the fullness of their affection so honestly. There were so many special moments in this day and it was such a pleasure being able to capture the length and breadth of them for such a great couple. Thanks for having me!
