This is one of the few times in my career as a photographer that I have had the pleasure of shooting an exclusive father and son session. I felt a great liberty to really explore this relationship through the captures, which show both a tenderness and a playfulness in the expression of affection from both dad and his son. There is an authenticity to catching moments like these that truly appreciate the value of photographs beyond the present moment. I loved everything about this shoot, and even though some time has passed since I took these photos I can recall that time with clarity and fondness. Isn’t that what photographs are for?
