Sometimes, when I am asked to do photos in the garden at the family home, I am skeptical. Most people believe their gardens are beautiful, but it is not always so for a photo session. Plenty space and good light are often requirements to produce a range of interesting captures. I was pleasantly surprised and creatively charged when I arrived at this homestead to a beautiful expansive garden with a choice of areas to work with. Although the sun skivvied behind the summer clouds as we started, there was an abundance of energy from the pooches that kept everyone smiling and their light spilled over with every embrace and capture.
