When I first started taking photos for families many years ago, it was the babies and toddlers that I photographed most. As time has passed, though, I can see how parents with older kids have grown(nostalgic?) to appreciate young adulthood as a bittersweet time of parent life to remember. Time assaults us all with change and each milestone of our childrens lives that separates them from us is both a victory to celebrate and a poignant reminder that nothing lasts forever.
