Throughout the year there is a host of formal dances that I get to be a part of, either at the function or beforehand. It is quite special, and I find myself observing the parents more than the students. There is pride and nostalgia and a general air of goodwill extending to all the beautifully clad young men and women, who wear their excitement like a second skin. It’s a joyous time to capture and always an opportunity to get those ever elusive family moments too.
