Micquel and Natacia’s wedding stands out for so many reasons. Besides the detail in the little things that make a wedding day pretty, it was the connections between people and all their the thoughtful expressions of love that made this day memorable. Natacia’s son led the procession into the ceremony and he even said his own speech in which he honoured both his mom and Micquel. Half of Natacia’s bridal retinue were her sisters, and an extension of her bridal party included her beautiful mom and gran (who both looked more like sisters too #goodgenes). There was a tangible closeness between and around the bride and groom’s kin with no clear distinction between the two families. The love moved and blended between people effortlessly and with much cheerfulness. The surprise of the day was the priest who belied his age with an infectious enthusiasm and dynamic spirit that had everyone smiling from the start to the end of the ceremony. I hadn’t met Micquel and Natacia before their big day and yet, by the end of the evening, I had a very real sense of two kind, humble humans who love their people fiercely and with great commitment. Thank-you for choosing me to document all that love!
