Before I photographed Byron and Sarah’s wedding day we met up to celebrate their engagement with these photos. Even this, though, was not our first time together. Having spent time taking photos with Sarah’s family in the past, I was well aware of the comfortable synergy that existed between these two. I fully believe that the success to any photo session lies in ensuring that people are comfortable enough to be themselves in front of the camera. It is, literally, evident in the casual slope of a shoulder or a spontaneous outburst of emotion.
