Instances in time become imprints in our memory when we look at photographs. Take this shoot, for example. It was back in 2021 when I met this family who were gifted with a photo shoot to celebrate the impending arrival of their second child. It was winter but the sun was warm and it glowed in all the right places. Putting people at ease is an important part of taking photos, and despite being shy in the beginning, mom and dad and daughter soon warmed to the captures in a real and effortless way. I think it’s because they focussed on each other and channelled their goodwill for their life and love into every smile and embrace they gave.
