The sweet spot is considered to be the most favourable location, area or combination of factors for a particular activity or purpose. In photography we refer to the sweet spot as the best aperture to deliver maximum sharpness to a capture. In every opportunity I have had to create beautiful captures, the trifecta for that sweet spot has been the people, the location and the light. Sometimes the light ebbs and wanes and the location will make up for it. Or the location seems quite average until the glow of the sun creates a halo of beauty. But you can’t forfeit the human element and the nature of connection that binds time and place together into a meaningful story.
