This was a shoot I did in February of 2020. Little did we know at the time what was on the horizon. A global pandemic. Lockdown. Drastic changes in how we connect with one another. The times in our lives that once seemed so insignificant, so ordinary, have taken on new meanings of importance. There is nostalgia for the past and also a sense of renewing our commitment to what is most important in life. Health. Family. Having goals to achieve that fill us with hope for the future. Being people of virtue. Showing love, compassion, empathy within our community, and recognising the incredible, binding connection of the family unit that is the springboard for all that is good and meaningful about our life.
